Second Hymn to Feronia
I.
Feronia, goddess of healing hands,
Great protector of sacred lands.
Sovereign, rejuvenator, queen of wolves,
Dwelling in your sacred mountain and groves.
II.
Sacred guardian of water and flame,
You truly are not timid or tame.
Liberating queen of the sacred stone,
You who can see through darkness unknown.
III.
Through sacred fissures you speak,
Travelling through well and creek.
Holy guide for Koryos and whole tribe,
Preferring a warrior poet over scribe.
IV.
On mountain and within sacred cave,
Your wolf warriors are mighty and brave.
Oh Feronia, companion of those cast out,
Taking away from us care and doubt.
V.
You are she who watches over mankind,
And of the sacredness of nature you remind.
Feronia, sacred guide into tribe and folk,
In your honour, stand tall the mighty oak.
