Hymn to Dionysus-Zagreus
I.
Hail, Dionysus-Zagreus, child of heaven and earth,
Bearer of the mysteries of death and rebirth.
Oh bull-horned god, torn apart by Titanic wrath,
Your sacred twin, scattered on the cosmic path.
II.
In your dismemberment, the cosmos took form,
Through sacrifice, creation and mighty storm.
From Zagreus to Iacchus, you transform,
In unity with all, our souls you inform.
III.
Oh, Zagreus, son of Persephone in shadowed halls,
Thy journey through darkness echoes in our soul's calls.
Grant us the courage to face the depths within,
And emerge reborn, free from guilt or sin.
IV.
Like a torch-bearer in the abyss of night,
You lead us towards the realm of light.
Integration of the chthonic and celestial spheres,
Awakens the divine spark, dispelling all fears.
V.
With your thyrsus in hand and your crown of stars,
You are the bright beacon that guides us from afar.
To the kingdom of happiness, where joy reigns supreme,
In your presence, we awaken from the eternal dream.
