I love like the moon loves the ocean, In ebbs and flows of quiet devotion. I love like a fire in a winter night. That cozy warmth, not too bright. I love like the sun loves the eve. Holding both longing and grief. I love like Venus loves the earth. Bringing both dawn and rebirth. I love like Hestia's most sacred flame. Like Angerona, I cherish your name. I love like springs meeting summers. Like Ariadne and Bacchus as lovers. I love like a plant reaching for light. Like Bacchus swooned at her sight. I love like the stars love the dark. Without a claim or even remark. I love like the wind caresses a mountain. Like water gently falling from a fountain. This is how my heart beats for dear you. Yet I am still to know if yours does too.
